Andrew is a Digital Content Producer for WGN-TV in Chicago. He collaborates with the newsroom to produce digital content, aggressively cover breaking news, produce and manage social media accounts, and works with reporters and producers to produce digital stories.

Andrew previously was Senior Digital Content Producer at WRTV in Indianapolis and works to help newsroom staff add depth to their coverage and produce digital extras, including specific content for social media. He also helps cover news in real-time for the website, app and social media, run the assignment desk.

Andrew is working with the investigative team on a years-long project into allegations of excessive force by some officers at a local police department. The teams work has produced several in-depth stories, a 30 minute special and an Emmy-award winning story.

Through his enterprise reporting, Andrew focuses on telling stories of recovery, training, treatment, reducing stigma and enforcement of the ongoing drug epidemic. Sometimes his reporting takes him in the field to cover breaking news, press conferences, court trials, and more.

After his sophomore year studying news journalism and telecommunications and criminal justice and criminology at Ball State University, Andrew joined WRTV part-time, focusing on digital content and assignments over the weekends. After his junior year, Andrew began working full-time while still continuing his education.

Before coming to WRTV, he was heavily involved with the Ball State Daily News, where he is a news and breaking news reporter. Andrew covered everything from shootings, house fires, officer involved shootings, traffic accidents and everything in between. He also covered general news assignments and Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb's State of the State address.
